2013 Minimum Payment announced

Introduction to your chosen project - if its in Huanchaco/Trujillo one of us or an experienced volunteer will normally take you there and introduce you on your first day. If its away from here we'll make sure you know exactly where to go and will have the local manager waiting for you on arrival.

Arrangement of Spanish lessons with local teachers at local costs, if required (see below)

Arrangement of Intercambio Spanish/English language program for a small local fee, if required

Otra Cosa discounts at local restaurants, hostal etc

Spending tips from the Restaurant for supplementary activities you can propose at your project

Participation at weekly volunteer lunches (you pay for what you eat), volunteer excursions/activities etc as and when arranged at basic cost.

Day to day support as and when required (within office hours and in emergency 24 hours/day)

Placement in housing of your choice as agreed, and introduction to the owner and the house.

Arrangement of hostel in Huanchaco on arrival if required

We regret the increase over 2010 but it should allow us to coninue doing what we're doing and hopefully improve it.

We prefer to offer a clear transparent minimum donation to our OCN Registered Charity for the services we provide rather than package it up with accommodation and/or Spanish lessons and include a mark-up on all of this as some organizations do.

With us, you pay the donation for our services to us and you can choose from our Accommodation or others at local prices and, if you want any, a choice of Spanish teachers who you can pay direct.

We try to stick to what you see is what you get.

And, shop around if you want - we think you'll find for the service we provide and the variety of projects that we offer we're still good value and you could pay MUCH more elsewhere!
