Before you apply, please read through carefully about the projects you are
most interested in, considering any disadvantages as well as advantages and
challenges yourself to see if this is really right for you. Also please consider
whether you would be able to cope with issues related to living and volunteering
in a foreign country whose culture & language are different from those of your
own. This is our attempt to make you think twice and consider the downside
of volunteering and of your preferred project(s) before you apply. This way we
only get volunteers who have thought things through, and this will also help you
avoid any nasty surprises when you arrive.
Also, if you haven't done so already, you can check out our Minimum Donation
etc in the section, Costs of living and volunteering in Peru.
Please complete all the info requested below. This will help us to review your
application and reply to you promptly advising you if there is a place for you at
your preferred project on your planned dates or at another project.
Please, read the code of conduct, it's very important that you know how you are expected to behave while you are volunteering for Otra Cosa Network.
We look forward to hearing from you.
