Otra Cosa Network has connected up with various Peruvian charities and organizations looking for willing and capable volunteers interested in enriching their travels to Peru with working as a volunteer for some time (usually minimum one month). We have contacts with over 20 organizations that need volunteers to support their regular work and special projects.
We believe that visiting other countries can be much more then cruising from one national park to the next archaeological site and from one party here to the next beach over there. Otra Cosa Network gives you the opportunity to make your travels into a deeper and more rewarding and worthwhile experience by doing voluntary work in Huanchaco, Trujillo and other places across Northern Peru.

Otra Cosa Network doesn't believe in charging excessive amounts to enthusiastic people just wanting to help out by volunteering at worthwhile projects in Peru. We do however have to charge a minimum donation to cover the expenses that make our work possible (see current minimum donation in the All about Money section.). You will have the chance to visit the projects of the other volunteers during the volunteer activities and take part in the weekly lunches and occasional excursions we organize.
