Otra Cosa Network relies on the donations from our volunteers to fund almost all our activities.
Placing you in an appropriate project, finding you accommodation and looking after you while you’re here in Peru is a full time job for our Operations Manager and Assistant Manager in Peru, working behind a computer, using electricity, internet, printer, travel expenses etc.
We also have two part-time people in the UK operating promotions to recruit more volunteers while maintaining our website and paying for other sorts of promotion.
Expenses and income vary from month to month and year to year, but to give you an idea of where the money goes, in line with our transparency policy, please find below an analysis of where the money went last year, based on our 2010 accounts.
